Planning & Design recently took part in the Rainbows Children’s Hospice Charity Golf Day.Director Richard Pigott and Architectural Assistant Daryl Sanders each captained a team consisting of four players, with the best 2 scores to count on each hole.
The day was really well organised with a bacon sandwich upon arrival, followed by 18 holes around the wonderfully maintained Kedleston Park Golf Club. Once the round was completed we were then welcomed back with a delightful carvery and dessert and plenty of time to discuss our game with fellow competitors.
Richard’s team did very well, finishing with 88 points and managing to claim third prize. Each player won a golf cap, golf towel and a round of golf at the Bedfordshire Golf Club.
Daryl’s team finished with a very creditable 81 points, just missing out on the prize table.
