Pre-application discussions with the Local Authority

Using our good relationships with local planners we can undertake negotiations at an early stage of a project in order to identify the level of support for your scheme.  These discussions will also involve Highways Authorities, Government Agencies (where necessary) and other consultees.

Preparation and submission of planning applications

To include the provision of detailed drawings to accompany planning and listed building applications, liaising with third party consultants if specialist assessments are required, Section 106 negotiations, site and photographic surveys, conservation area assessments, design and access statements and electronic submission of applications through the Planning Portal.

Appeal work

Preparing and submitting an appeal to the Secretary of State to include presenting evidence to the Planning Inspectorate, attending site visits and acting as an expert witness at public Inquiries and informal hearings.

Enforcement

Identifying the steps necessary to resolve a problem, negotiating with enforcement and planning officers and preparing enforcement appeals

Master Planning

Site assessments, desk top studies to include planning history, limiting factors and a review of planning policy, SWOT analysis, negotiations with planners, provision of site layouts and indicative drawings

Development Planning

Review of Local Development Plans, representation of land owners and other groups to promote the inclusion of land for development or to protect land/buildings from development.

Advertisements, Lawful Use Certificates and Permitted Development Rights

Handle applications and support clients in these areas.
