Gary Stringer
Marketing Manager
Gary Stringer joined Planning & Design Practice Ltd in June 2019, having relocated back to Derby, his hometown earlier that year.
He graduated with a BSc degree in Geography from the University of Portsmouth. Prior to joining Planning Design, he was the Marketing Manager for an inward investment agency in Hertfordshire, supporting local businesses and promoting the Borough of Dacorum as a place to invest, visit and work. Previous experience comes from a commercial theatre and over ten years’ experience working on B2B events for a number of conference and publishing companies based in London.
He is an experienced marketing professional with over twenty years’ experience, including live event marketing and management, research and development of direct, online and e-marketing campaigns, budget management, press and partner liaison, competitor analysis. He has also been responsible for the development and onsite fulfilment of a wide variety of events, ranging from round table debates for 30 attendees to major conferences with 500 plus delegates.
He seems to spend most of his spare time trying to persuade his very lazy dog to go for walks.
