Richard Pigott
Richard is a chartered town planner who began his planning career in local government, working as a planning officer at both Macclesfield Borough Council in Cheshire and Windsor & Maidenhead Council in Berkshire.

Richard Pigott achieved chartered status in 2009 and, after 7 years in local government, joined the company in 2011. He became a Director in 2015 and relishes the opportunity to use his business knowledge to assist the ongoing growth of the company.

Richard has a proven track record of managing projects of all sizes, from small domestic proposals to large and complex residential and commercial schemes where there are multiple issues to overcome. He is also well versed in the promotion of land through the planning policy process and has represented clients at Local Plan examinations in public. He has extensive experience of the appeal process, having appeared as a chief witness at four public inquires.

Richard is a keen golfer and triathlete and tries to fit these in around spending time with his young family. He also loves the great outdoors and can normally be found subjecting himself to the Original Mountain Marathon (OMM) every October.
