After two years of hard work by all involved, that the proposed CW Sellors Jewellery Design Centre of Excellence was approved by Derbyshire Dales Planning Committee this month.

The proposed centre, for local jewellery makers CW Sellors, will function as a design studio, workshop, training centre and visitor attraction. These facilities will be housed in a contemporary new building to be nestled into a hillside overlooking Carsington Water.

Wildflower meadows and aquatic habitats will be created on the site to attract wildlife and further enhance the setting.

The application was submitted by Planning & Design Practice  on behalf of CW Sellors, incorporating the designs of Evans Vettori Architects, Reform Landscape Architects, Paul Hicking Ecology and Bancroft Highway Consultants.
