We recognise that historic buildings and landscapes are intrinsic to our sense of place and identity. Restoring and better revealing their significance can add considerable value to a project.

We have considerable experience of developments involving Listed Buildings, Conservation Areas and World Heritage sites.

» Heritage & Conservation Services

We have vast experience of working on rural projects for homeowners, landowners and farmers in rural areas including rural housing development, barn conversions (both via a planning application and Class Q) and farm diversification schemes.

We can provide you with expert advice on issues to be taken into account prior to submission of your application through to receiving the decision.

» Rural Development

Urban Design is the designing of towns, villages, streets and spaces. We are committed to creating places where people want to live, work and play.

Our approach is to combine an understanding of place with commercial awareness and practical know-how; creating proposals which are aspirational yet deliverable.

» Urban Design Services

Have you had planning permission refused? We can help.

We have extensive experience of the many types of planning appeals, from written representations to informal hearings and public inquiries.

» Appeals

If there is a breach of planning control the council does not have to take any action but they can do and if it is a serious breach they almost certainly will.

If there is a breach of planning control and the council intervenes we can help. The council’s Enforcement Officer will normally visit the site to confirm that there has been a breach of planning control.
