Bespoke New Home, Matlock
Our team of architects and planners helped this client change the planning permission on this property from a generic stone dwelling to a more contemporary dwelling.
The aim was to take advantage of the beautiful views by designing a property that favoured them. By positioning the living areas to the rear of the property, sliding doors were able to be fitted on the opposite side which opened up to the views.

Holly House Farm, Blackbrook
Our Derby Architects secured planning permission for a farmhouse in Belper. The farmhouse had particular historic value, due to it being associated with Samuel Slater who is widely recognised as the ‘Father of the Industrial Revolution’.
Upon discussion with the council, it was decided that the development would have to be a new dwelling, not a redevelopment of the original one. A new dwelling would need to be inserted into the remains to allow for the best results.
