Andrew Conlin

Andrew joined the architecture team at Planning & Design Practice in September 2025 as a Part I Architectural Assistant, supporting the delivery of professional architectural services.

Based in the Midlands, Andrew supports architecture, planning and property development projects across Derbyshire, the Peak District and surrounding areas. His interests include technical architectural design, residential architecture and residential property development.

Andrew completed his BSc in Architecture at the University of Salford in 2025. During his studies, he worked on projects including Grade II listed building conversions, house extensions and commercial developments, developing a strong understanding of heritage architecture, planning constraints and context-sensitive architectural design.

Since joining Planning & Design Practice, Andrew has gained experience across key stages of the architectural design and property development process. His work includes architectural feasibility studies, residential development, Class Q barn conversions, Building Regulations drawings and design, architectural visualisation, and digital 3D modelling.

Andrew is particularly interested in sustainable architecture, energy-efficient building design and futureproofing homes and buildings. He focuses on integrating practical, adaptable and low-impact design solutions from the outset across residential architecture, building conversion and wider property development projects.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys Formula 1, restoring and repairing his classic car, and hiking across the Peak District and Derbyshire countryside.
